Presentation of LSP / MAS

LSP / MAS (Linkse Socialistische Partij / Mouvement pour une Alternative Socialiste - Left Socialist Party / Movement for a Socialist Alternative) is a Trotskyist party (website) and one of the last Belgian political parties operating both in Dutch-speaking and French-speaking Belgium (therefore its two names, which are not strictly equivalent). With a few hundreds of members, LSP / MAS is the biggest Trotskyist party that ever existed in Belgium.
Known until 1999 as Militant, the LSP / MAS is significantly involved in antifascists, students and workers' movements. It is part of the Committee for a Workers' International, an international umbrella organization of Trotskyist parties.

Flags of LSP / MAS

Several photographies available on the party website show that LSP / MAS uses red flags charged with either LSP or MAS in black. Most flags seem to be home-made, therefore the images shown above are to be considered as "templates" or "average flags" rather than accurate depictions of real flags.
